Track Listing: You Love Us Label/Catalogue Number: Heavenly Records HVN10P Comments: UK 7" 1 sided white label promo 500 only
To promote their second Heavenly Records release after the ground breaking "Motown Junk", radio stations got sent a frenetic 3 minute '45 single that was the "middle-finger-in-your-face", very raw 1st issue of "You Love Us". Sounding very similar to the commercially released item but "chopped' here , there and everywhere this is commonly referred to as the "Radio Edit" version. I have it from good authority that it only came in a black die-cut sleeve although copies are circulating around with picture sleeves. As the term "white label" suggests there are no titles on the label, just the catalogue number etched into the run-out groove. Interestingly, the Japanese "You Love Us" CD single features a "Heavenly Edit" that is different again - I'm sure a whole album of "You Love Us" versions could quite easily be made available!!
