I adore Japanese issues because they are a well packaged item full of, in the main, photos and "blurbs" (unfortunately all in Japanese!!) that leave anything that Sony UK, US, OZ etc. release for dead. In the past the Japanese items were considerable more expensive than other countries but as the old saying goes, you pay for what you get! As an example, over here in Oz I paid $14-00 Australian dollars for the UK Part 1 of "You stole the sun from my heart" which had 3 tracks and came in a double card sleeve - for $25-00 Australian (from the same shop) I got the Japanese issue which has 7 tracks as well as a 6 page booklet containing the lyrics in English and Japanese! Need I say more! Some of the rarest ever Manic items have emanated from the Land of the Rising Sun, the most sought after being the "Manics DJ Copy" promo-only CD.
